The feature goes on to explain how in addition to the architect and the original designer (<a href="http://www.carrierandcompany.com/about_us/" target="_blank">Jesse Carrier</a>) the magazine industry, also rallied around this family and generously donated so many stylish items to replace what was lost (the Louis Vuitton in the closet is from Grace Coddington.) I've changed my view on both mid-century modern homes and the top tier magazine world...prior to reading this family's story, both seemed beautiful to look at, but somewhat cold... now I see the warmth in both. <br /><a name="more"></a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj41xg-TwWQg6DcxVk6b666sJqmQQw3CyvZ37msQA-s-WbmIC4FBAVMbhbhaiMtMdP2ckg4-CqHHnZ_J43UwGawLDREk7R4Cz8HQUX5sHPSxunegtiy9o0sDzmEqI4Cq7o2Q7Q-5GXTNDI/s1600/mid-cent-glass-mod-the-zhush-blog.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="http://www.thezhush.blogspot.com" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj41xg-TwWQg6DcxVk6b666sJqmQQw3CyvZ37msQA-s-WbmIC4FBAVMbhbhaiMtMdP2ckg4-CqHHnZ_J43UwGawLDREk7R4Cz8HQUX5sHPSxunegtiy9o0sDzmEqI4Cq7o2Q7Q-5GXTNDI/s1600/mid-cent-glass-mod-the-zhush-blog.png" title="" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkgpwnkr4ClbtYdxBn7DOmamQLlNO9rbGYbK31h5rb2-7wVfUrlt0CUknZ0xfQT0PeH45Tg0rGCFtoXQEMNidUpsccJjz8KJhrqD2I5qVMvdAFAzNjKWyZI6m87Kms4I3ReQQV5RaFo8A/s1600/ct-glass-house-re-build-the-zhush-blog.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkgpwnkr4ClbtYdxBn7DOmamQLlNO9rbGYbK31h5rb2-7wVfUrlt0CUknZ0xfQT0PeH45Tg0rGCFtoXQEMNidUpsccJjz8KJhrqD2I5qVMvdAFAzNjKWyZI6m87Kms4I3ReQQV5RaFo8A/s1600/ct-glass-house-re-build-the-zhush-blog.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIdxn0vMJVX2qacRroYGN55Wgz96blYFOZGNzp02QslodbFxbVDyyuIVWyTJ5_wTn2B2AA-lpJ3V1pGxm_f0FiJk0x9Ix3sLklHYPa8hqP8jccYTSBjq1hRn8NDvr6mCEJsAUyYnraK3k/s1600/town-and-country-editor-closet-zhush.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIdxn0vMJVX2qacRroYGN55Wgz96blYFOZGNzp02QslodbFxbVDyyuIVWyTJ5_wTn2B2AA-lpJ3V1pGxm_f0FiJk0x9Ix3sLklHYPa8hqP8jccYTSBjq1hRn8NDvr6mCEJsAUyYnraK3k/s1600/town-and-country-editor-closet-zhush.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Ivjoc1in2nHmuU09HDfgwxnJmp8gjm2hu6kykXUqPREHXihw3CZ3EPiaiPcTKKnQSEVZx8Bw6716Z5dOmRPhwFe0GFV5f6Re9nfk5rVuX6KDN8vQTeu98fFEVu4h3Jrs4IicedzmK_g/s1600/town-and-country-rebuild-the-zhush.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Ivjoc1in2nHmuU09HDfgwxnJmp8gjm2hu6kykXUqPREHXihw3CZ3EPiaiPcTKKnQSEVZx8Bw6716Z5dOmRPhwFe0GFV5f6Re9nfk5rVuX6KDN8vQTeu98fFEVu4h3Jrs4IicedzmK_g/s1600/town-and-country-rebuild-the-zhush.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2qhegpJ7IBPUGHBotNOuGZhozETzYLIhx4anpe_lb6jJLtAgI63Mx3VBYWDSZBziQ_35PoqLD8i9ep1lqWkgWS8DAF7RazvIzEfcOxriMVSnT4kgGZecI7BW2hLuBKexzk8H_mC50hkE/s1600/thezhush-blog-mid-century-nytimes.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2qhegpJ7IBPUGHBotNOuGZhozETzYLIhx4anpe_lb6jJLtAgI63Mx3VBYWDSZBziQ_35PoqLD8i9ep1lqWkgWS8DAF7RazvIzEfcOxriMVSnT4kgGZecI7BW2hLuBKexzk8H_mC50hkE/s1600/thezhush-blog-mid-century-nytimes.png" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUBDR0lYtaovCAvo1tp1Ccf9Il1M27YCTXuTqhY4B_HlmRYyxMU5wkrU8Sre7nXq-9lSDKOIc6dNuCOkXGvEqdMsvjwJVnpPiKQk2Fo8hd5Ew-zCIf3y6u6qweSPGkrzHsjdI35d22Z4A/s1600/mid-century-glass-house-ct-the-zhush.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUBDR0lYtaovCAvo1tp1Ccf9Il1M27YCTXuTqhY4B_HlmRYyxMU5wkrU8Sre7nXq-9lSDKOIc6dNuCOkXGvEqdMsvjwJVnpPiKQk2Fo8hd5Ew-zCIf3y6u6qweSPGkrzHsjdI35d22Z4A/s1600/mid-century-glass-house-ct-the-zhush.png" /></a></div><br /></div>
