It proved to be an amazing experience. One of the items the stylish team of shoppers pulled for me that day was a <a href="http://rstyle.me/n/d67serhe" target="_blank">Splendid cowl neck thermal top</a>.  When it was first given to me to try on, I confess, I simply did not "get" it.  However, once I slipped into this super soft and cozy top, I fell in instant love.  Extra long (it can be scrunched up a bit to create a non-bulky, ruched effect) the neckline is super flattering and it looks great all it's own. Since the arms are cut fashionably snug, this top also makes an ideal layering piece. I love to wear mine under knitted vests (<a href="http://rstyle.me/imvuzberhe" target="_blank">this one is especially cute</a>), <a href="http://rstyle.me/h377g4erhe" target="_blank">cardigans</a> and <a href="http://rstyle.me/ipkqxkerhe" target="_blank">blazers</a>.  So glad to see that these tops are back again this year in a whole new batch of colors.</div>

Aerin recalls how her grandmother truly believed in the importance of following your dream and working hard to achieve it. This traditional British Holiday seemed like the perfect opportunity to share these fabulous images I spied hanging on the walls of the new<a href="http://www.jomalone.com/" target="_blank"> Jo Malone </a>flagship in downtown Manhattan.  The people at Jo Malone were nice enough to invite me to check out the new "shoppe" and it did not disappoint.  I'm already such a fan of this fabulous fragrance line (right down to it's original British roots).  Rumor has it that there may even be a home accessories line at some point, and you know this will be amazing! Which is why I'm so fired up for today! I'm getting a jump start on my New Year's resolutions and (hopefully) learning a few new tricks from two truly amazing and inspiring women.  I'm heading into NYC for a two day work shop known as <a href="http://blogshopla.wordpress.com/" target="_blank">Blogshop</a>.  The <a href="http://blogshopla.wordpress.com/" target="_blank">Blogshop</a> ladies have been on a global teaching tour for the past few months.  <span style="font-size: x-small;">(I'm three parts intimidated and one part totally excited!)</span> Taught by Bri Emery of <a href="http://www.designlovefest.com/" target="_blank">designlovefest</a> + photographer <a href="http://angelaandithyle.com/" target="_blank">Angela Kohler</a>, it's intended to be a photoshop boot camp of sorts.  At a minimum, it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun and completely motivating!
