Brooks, Bancroft + Beyond

One of my closest friends (whose Birthday is today...Happy Birthday M.!) is the sister of the owner of this beautiful beach house, recently featured in Hamptons Cottages and Gardens.  I've been hearing about this famed abode for quite some time, so it was great to finally get a peak inside this stylish retreat.  Not only is it decorated so beautifully, and located right on the water, but it used to belong to Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft.  For years my friend's brother and his lovely wife rented the house from the famous couple, and only recently were they able to purchase it and really put their own stamp on the place. The homeowners hired Delrose Design Group of New York City to help with the renovation.  I absolutely love the color palette here and the dining area is one of my favorite spaces.
